Android 2.3 Gingerbread on Nexus S; Features

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of weeks, you probably know that the newly announced Google Nexus S is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and at a first glance, it looks like it’s a hell of a OS to go with.Did we got your attention? Are you interested in knowing what Gingerbread brings to the table? That’s great as we have a a video walk-through that will explain all the major features of it.

The video was produced by our good friends from PhoneArena, who extensively reviewed the latest Android OS for four minutes and a half. By the looks of it, Android 2.3 is geared towards gaming.

On top of that it also delivers active task management to the Google Nexus S, and while it has the same home screens (we’re talking layout on the stock version), it now has green launcher buttons.
