HTC Tablet Trademark Names it the Scribe

There have been many rumours over the past few months about HTC and their tablet intentions. The “HTC Scribe” is described as a “handheld wireless device, namely, a tablet computer” in HTC’s submission, while the name itself would seem to suggest some form of stylus. We don’t know what kind of stylus, we might see a digitizer pen like a Wacom tablet. To find out what kind of pen this tablet is going to use we are just going to have to wait and see.

What we do know is that it is a 10-inch 1280 x 720 display is expected, while NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor and 2GB of memory is tipped. That’ll be paired with a 32GB microSD card. OS is Android 2.4 Honeycomb, which is expected to arrive sometime before the end of Q1 2011.
