Korean company ‘Appeal System’ is the latest no name Asian company to end up with a funny name due to translation and one to succumb to iPad clone fever. They’ve done just that with the Woori Pad with most design cues taken from Apple with the same 9.7-inch 4:3 screen form factor but in pink… pink?!
It’s packing Android 2.2, a 1GHz processor with ‘iPad compatible performance’, a 1024 x 768 screen resolution, 16 or 32GB via MicroSD card slot, rear facing camera, mini USB and WiFi. The company plans to enter the ‘super market’, or overseas market if you will and on home soil there are plans to launch through a mobile carrier early next year.
