Why we love our new iPad 2 over our old iPad

Sorry to our old iPad which is now languishing in a desolate corner of the Techlab, our new iPad 2 now rules all the other gadgets we have. Oh, yeah, we're one of the luckiest in the techie world.

How can we not love this new treat from Apple, thank you Steve Jobs, when the iPad 2 showed up with a Dual core processor, performed with a 10-hour-plus battery life, lights up our day with its bright 9.7-inch IPS LCD screen, hardly gave us trouble handling a device that a third thinner than the original...and now we can play with front and rear cameras.

So, is the iPad 2 better than the original? Yes, of course, hands down!

Thinner by a third, and with a slightly smaller surface area thanks to a thinner bezel, a sloped iPhone-3G-style edge, and about 25 percent lighter, we're glad the geniuses at Apple are not lazy.It's got fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.
The front and back facing cameras enable a bunch of new applications, most importantly FaceTime video chatting, and the dual-core 1GHz processor doubles the speed and juices graphics up by nine times.

But like the original, the iPad 2 has just two connectors – the 3.5mm headphone jack and the 30-pin Apple connector.
We've enjoyed video and gaming in our old iPad. Now, our iPad 2 is faster on all accounts – app booting, Web page and video loading. Our iPad 2 was able to pull in a stronger Wi-Fi signal. Our iPad 2 loads pages and content from connected apps faster.

For its back camera: Video recording, HD (720p) up to 30 frames per second with audio; still camera with 5x digital zoom and;

Front camera: Video recording, VGA up to 30 frames per second with audio; VGA-quality still camera. Tap to control exposure for video or stills and it can take photo and video geotagging over Wi-Fi.

Thinner, faster, better. And so awesome. That's our conclusion...for now.
